Gelato al cioccolato

Gelato al cioccolato or chocolate gelato is basically fior di latte with cocoa powder and chocolate.

Ingredients

  • one batch of the “fior di latte” gelato recipe
  • 30 g cocoa
  • 2 bars of dark chocolate

Directions

  • make a batch of “fior di latte”
  • using a mixer, mix in the cocoa powder
  • let it rest for 6 hours in the fridge
  • pour the mixture into the ice cream maker
  • start churning
  • cut the two bars of chocolate into bits
  • add them in after 20-25 minutes
  • churn until ready
